I'm David, a documentary wedding photographer with a bit of an an analogue heart. Based in East Yorkshire, I regularly cover Beverley, Bridlington, and Driffield, but my camera takes me wherever the story is, from the Yorkshire Wolds to the Midlands and beyond.
My journey back to photography was a homecoming. I quickly discovered that the most powerful images don't come from a pose, they come from letting the day breathe. My goal is to stay invisible while capturing the raw, unscripted truth of your story.
My love for the lens started decades ago with a hand-me-down camera and the heady smell of darkroom chemicals. That history shapes everything I do today. I bring that same analogue style and heart to modern digital photography, focusing on the grain, the light, and the raw emotion you just can't fake.
I've spent over four years perfecting the art of being the invisible observer. I'm not there to direct your day or stage a production. I'm there to catch the giggles while fluffing a dress, the quiet tears during vows, and the unapologetic joy of a couple just being themselves.
My style is for couples who value the feeling of the day over the 'perfection' of the shot. For the ones are unapologetically themselves, who want to wear Crocs, skip the posing, and simply enjoy the biggest party of their lives.
